Benefits of Dark Chocolate...

How many people LOVE dark chocolate?  I know I do and so does just about everybody I know!

Yesterday I had dinner with someone who created what I believe to be "The Perfect Product!"

Before I tell you who that person is I want to tell you a few things and then ask you a few questions.  And when you answer my questions I want you to answer honestly...just be sure to keep your critical mind out of your answers!

First...the facts.  Just the facts.

Who's the guy I had dinner with?  Well...his name is John Haremza.  John lives in Fargo, North Dakota and I guess I was so happy to hear that because they get more snow there than I do.  (In case you didn't know, I live in Buffalo, NY.)

Why did I have dinner with him you ask?  Because John created a product that is not only craved by most people, it is the only product that has a synergy that is so amazing it will knock your socks off!

What are the key ingredients?
1- 70 % Dark Cacao
2- 5 drops of Natural Cellular Defense...a zeolite wonder product
3- Hyper Potent Chocolate Extract

The fusion of these three ingredients blows the ORAC value OFF THE CHARTS!

And what is the name of this product?

It's called Chava Vital Chocolate...that's CHAVA VITAL CHOCOLATE!

Rich Chava Chocolate

John shared with me his secrets to making $3,000 per DAY!

How did he do it you ask?  One step at a time...one piece at a time.  Simply by giving out one
piece of Chava at a time and sharing the health and wealth benefits of it.

Why am I telling you this?  So that you can have the same thing.

I know...it might seem hard to believe.  But believing is the first thing that is required
to experience success in anything.  Once you trust in the process of your life, you will
see signs everywhere.  Here's one of many signs I've seen along the way :

BELIEVE by Macy's

Did you know that your beliefs determine your actions?  Yup...it's true..

If you want to change your beliefs you must change your mind.  And you can change
your mind by clearing out the negative beliefs and clearing out toxins!

Start this process using my potent blend of Chava Vital Chocolate.  Start today!

Call or email me to learn more or to receive your free taste of Chava!
Email me at msmaryjobriggs@gmail.com or call 716 410 4504.

Give yourself the gift of mental clarity, focus and detoxification while enjoying Chava!

Hugs...
MaryJo

PS...If you want to learn how to get FREE Chava then call me before December 15th!  I will share with you how you can eat, share and earn money with Chava.  716 410 4504

The Unhappy Meal!

Why McDonald's Happy Meal hamburgers won't decompose - the real story behind the story

Sunday, October 17, 2010
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger
Editor of NaturalNews.com

Why don't McDonald's hamburgers decompose?

So why don't fast food burgers and fries decompose in the first place? The knee-jerk answer is often thought to be, "Well they must be made with so many chemicals that even mold won't eat them." While that's part of the answer, it's not the whole story.

The truth is many processed foods don't decompose and won't be eaten by molds, insects or even rodents. Try leaving a tub of margarine outside in your yard and see if anything bothers to eat it. You'll find that the margarine stays seems immortal, too!

Potato chips can last for decades. Frozen pizzas are remarkably resistant to decomposition. And you know those processed Christmas sausages and meats sold around the holiday season? You can keep them for years and they'll never rot.

With meats, the primary reason why they don't decompose is their high sodium content. Salt is a great preservative, as early humans have known for thousands of years. McDonald's meat patties are absolutely loaded with sodium -- so much so that they qualify as "preserved" meat, not even counting the chemicals you might find in the meat.

To me, there's not much mystery about the meat not decomposing. The real question in my mind is why don't the buns mold? That's the really scary part, since healthy bread begins to mold within days. What could possibly be in McDonald's hamburger buns that would ward off microscopic life for more than two decades?

As it turns out, unless you're a chemist you probably can't even read the ingredients list out loud. Here's what McDonald's own website says you'll find in their buns:

Enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, enzymes), water, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, yeast, soybean oil and/or partially hydrogenated soybean oil, contains 2% or less of the following: salt, calcium sulfate, calcium carbonate, wheat gluten, ammonium sulfate, ammonium chloride, dough conditioners (sodium stearoyl lactylate, datem, ascorbic acid, azodicarbonamide, mono- and diglycerides, ethoxylated monoglycerides, monocalcium phosphate, enzymes, guar gum, calcium peroxide, soy flour), calcium propionate and sodium propionate (preservatives), soy lecithin.

Great stuff, huh? You gotta especially love the HFCS (diabetes, anyone?), partially-hydrogenated soybean oil (anybody want heart disease?) and the long list of chemicals such as ammonium sulfate and sodium proprionate. Yum. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Now here's the truly shocking part about all this: In my estimation, the reason nothing will eat a McDonald's hamburger bun (except a human) is because it's not food!

No normal animal will perceive a McDonald's hamburger bun as food, and as it turns out, neither will bacteria or fungi. To their senses, it's just not edible stuff. That's why these bionic burger buns just won't decompose.

Which brings me to my final point about this whole laughable distraction: There is only one species on planet Earth that's stupid enough to think a McDonald's hamburger is food. This species is suffering from skyrocketing rates of diabetes, cancer, heart disease, dementia and obesity. This species claims to be the most intelligent species on the planet, and yet it behaves in such a moronic way that it feeds its own children poisonous chemicals and such atrocious non-foods that even fungi won't eat it (and fungi will eat cow manure, just FYI).

Care to guess which species I'm talking about?

That's the real story here. It's not that McDonald's hamburgers won't decompose; it's that people are stupid enough to eat them. But you won't find CNN reporting that story any time soon.

Hello everyone
I'm off to enjoy a beautiful week of sun, sand & companionship while doing restorative yoga and breathework.

We all know the importance of proper rest and nutrition but sometimes life gets in the way.

I want to ask you to think about the last time you took a vacation or at least a couple days break. If you're not sure of when that was... YOU need a break! (and I'm not talking about McDonalds!

Give yourself permission and explore an area of the world you've always wanted to see.

High Fructose Corn Syrup & Your Liver

A study at Duke University Medical Center found that as many as 30% of adult Americans have nonalcoholic steotohepatitis (NASH), also called nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), possibly as a result of consuming too many foods and beverages containing high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).  Consumption of HFCS in high amounts can cause scarring and hardening of the liver, which can lead to cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer.

While there have been lots of commercials on television stating that HFCS is safe in moderate amounts, it's in so many products that it's almost impossible to eat the standard American diet (ironically referred to as SAD) and take in only moderate amounts of HFCS.  Why is this?  Well, it's because HFCS is in just about everything on the supermarket shelves.

But don't believe me...go to the store and find out for yourself.  Start in the bread aisle and read the labels.  You will notice that most, if not ALL will contain high fructose corn syrup.  Then move onto the ice cream section and why not check out the pickles!  Yes, even pickles are being tainted with HFCS.  Be sure to read the labels of the foods that you are feeding your children as well!  Smaller bodies need healthy nutrient rich foods without the junk!

If you want more information about HFCS, schedule a grocery shopping tour today by calling 1-888-317-3334!  We look forward to hearing from you!

Listening To The Body

This week has been busy busy busy. I'm sure everyone has had those days where your body us SCREAMING for a break! Lately I've been experiencing that very thing more and more as I recuperate from am old accident. What's so interesting is that when we stop and listen to the body at the time it speaks to us, we need not take tons of time to rest or respond. Here's an example... Today I became jittery and rather than push through and feel worse later, I took a 15 minute extreme relaxation nap. Sort of like a cat nap. The result...I felt much better. So the next time your body asks for something... be kind and enjoy the rewards.

Here's a pic of my sons cat WeeZee! He loves to sleep in my suitcase. Isn't he a little love bug?

Foods For Your Healthy Heart!

We all know that there are foods that make us sick.  But what isn't always obvious is that there are foods that can heal us and make us happy and vibrant!  Heart health is one of the most important factors in preventing heart disease and maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.

By making a few simple changes you can keep you heart healthy.  First, be sure to make good food choices.  Choose foods such as fruits and veggies that cover the full spectrum of the rainbow.  Be sure to include beans and legumes and eat fats that are unsaturated.

Avoiding or minimizing a sedentary lifestyle is also an important key in staying heart healthy.  What does this mean?  Exercise at least three times per week for 20 minutes and you can keep your heart healthy.  If that's too much to start, then start out with one day at 10 minutes per session and work up to three times per week. You will find that the benefits of this simple yet uplifting experience will help you to have more energy and keep your hearr  healthy.

And since we are experiencing beautiful weather, be sure to take a walk in the part or on the waterfront!  It will make your exercise routine almost effortless!

Enjoy!

Spring Has Arrived!

With the days growing longer and the sun starting to shine brighter, we are all definately feeling the amazing benefits of warmer weather and brighter moods. Spring is a time of renewal and growth. Just look around and you will find flowers in bloom, leaves continuing to bud and people coming out of their houses to enjoy the weather and the neighborhood.

Use this Spring to connect with yourself, your neighbors and your own backyard. Why not think about starting your own garden even if it's in a window box or small planters. If you're like me, you might try your hand at a bigger garden...even if you don't have a green thumb. I did this last year and even with the weeds and some underutilized space, I still had fresh veggies and delicious carrots and peas!

Give it a try and let me know what you decide to plant. I guarantee that you will feel fabulous once you begin to eat the foods you grow.
Enjoy!

Spring Cleaning

Spring is finally here and I have been busy clearing out the cobwebs not only in my house but in my body, mind and spirit as well. So often we clean out our cupboards but we forget to spring clean our bodies and minds. Over the past two weeks I've been taking part in an elimination plan and while it started with eliminating foods that can cause mind fog and digestive problems, the elimination plan has brought me to a place of feeling the need to clean out my house as well. Eliminating things that we no longer need is a great and freeing thing. In addition, I've been experiencing great health benefits including better sleep and clearer thinking. Stay tuned for more details about spring cleaning and how you can get started on your own spring cleaning plan for body, mind and spirit!
Good night :-)

Divorcing Weight from Health?

Nightline aired a special on weight and obesity in the U.S. In it a woman talked about the idea that weight and health needed to be considers separate issues. How absurd! The woman was obese herself and so I assume she was divorced from herself. I know firsthand how divorcing yourself from your body can cause eating disorders, depression and a host of other health issues. That's exactly why my health coaching business is based on the premise that once we tap into our bodies and connect mind and body, the other issues begin to heal and weight issues begin to normalize. Power of Meditation

The greatest challenges we face are internal ones such as negative self talk and the negative voices of our past. There is only one thing that is able to conquer the deamons and gremlins we put up with. That one thing is meditation. Meditation allows us to bring light to situations that were previously unclear. It will help you on your path to self realization.

We Must Feel To Release

Recently I had an experience that began to stir up fear within and around me. Luckily my partner noticed my anguish and began a conversation. And while he has never experienced the sort of intense fear that I have had to endure, he was able to show me another perspective. In seeing his perspective he made it safe for me to fully experience the event. And it was at that point I realized that sometimes we must GO BACK and re-experience so that we can then consciously choose to release the experience and the paralysis that goes along with it. Perhaps this is where the phrase "feel the fear and do it anyway" comes from.

And so today my wish for you is to live fully in the present moment and experience all that the Universe has to offer. Let fear propell you forward into an amazing life ahead!

Illusion

Invincible...today at yoga we were reminded that the heat in the room is simply an illusion. In addition, it helps with focus and concentration. Do not let the weather ( hot or cold) determine the type of day you will experience. YOU create your day. You create your WORLD!

Saturday Saturday

Ahhh the weekend. A time when we sit back, relax and rejuvinate. Have you ever noticed that it's not so challenging to rejuvinate when we take care of ourselves during the week with tender loving care. When we eat properly, get enough sleep and stop running ourselves into the ground? I've noticed that going to bed at a consistent time and not eating after 8pm make my sleep so beautiful and the next day absolutely amazing! If you're feeling less then rested and rejuvinated upon rising, try my suggestions. Eat less at night and finish before 8pm. Actually, it's best if you are done with your meals by 7pm! Instead of falling asleep on the couch, give yourself permission to go up to bed...even if it is only 9pm! And lastly, don't forget about drinking lots of fresh water. Let me know how you feel and make it a wonderful weekend! Peace, Mary Jo
